Your right to cancel an Order applies to Goods returned in the same condition as received, including all product instructions, documents, and packaging. Goods that are damaged or not in the same condition as received, or have been used beyond opening the original packaging, are not eligible for a refund. Therefore, please take reasonable care of the purchased Goods while they are in Your possession. We will refund You within 14 days from the day We receive the returned Goods, using the same payment method as Your Order. You do not incur any fees for this reimbursement. Your right to cancel an Order does not apply to certain Goods, including:
Goods made to Your specifications or clearly personalized.
Goods that are unsuitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons, once unsealed.
Digital content supplied without a tangible medium, with Your prior express consent.

8. Returns Information UK Buyers:
e are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with your order. If, for any reason, you need to return an item, here are some important guidelines:
We will promptly refund or exchange any unworn, saleable item returned within 14 days of notification.
Please note that we are unable to accept returns outside the specified 14-day period. If this timeframe has been exceeded, and the item is returned, it will be refused and sent back to the buyer.
Additionally, we cannot process a return if the "DO NOT REMOVE" tags have been removed.
After 14 days from your purchase date, we regrettably cannot offer a refund.
9. Shows and Event Sales:
If you purchased an item at a show or event in person, you had the opportunity to try the item for size and inspect the garment. Most items may show signs of wear, and prices reflect their condition. If you are not satisfied with your item, please contact us within 14 days of purchase for possible return options. We do not exchange or swap garments. Any refunds will be issued as store credit only.
10. Address for Returns:
Please return items to the following address: Returns Address: Live for Tweed 15 Parsons Mews Kings Norton Birmingham B30 3NA The 14-day return period begins upon delivery to your shipping address or any alternative address (e.g., Post Office or neighbor), in case delivery cannot be made to your shipping address. It is your responsibility to track your order's delivery status. Returned items are your responsibility until they are delivered to us, so ensure they are appropriately wrapped and secured. We recommend obtaining a proof of posting.
11. Extended Christmas Returns:
Online Christmas Returns - Any online orders placed between December 1st and December 16th may be returned until January 10th for Christmas presents. All returns must be received by January 10th, with the "DO NOT REMOVE" tag still attached, and the item in the same unworn condition as when dispatched. Any items with a removed or tampered "DO NOT REMOVE" tag will be rejected.
12. Last Day for Ordering and Delivery for Christmas & Events:
We cannot guarantee delivery in time for Christmas regardless of the order date due to unexpected delays and unforeseen circumstances. We recommend ordering as early as possible for Christmas.
13. UK Delivery:
All items will be dispatched on the next working day after placing the order, unless otherwise indicated on our overhead banner. Delivery typically takes 3 - 5 working days. UK orders qualify for free domestic postage, which includes Royal Mail
Royal Mail Express Special Delivery
For a small charge of £7.95, we will dispatch your item the same day by 10:00 am with Royal Mail Special Delivery. Orders after 10:00 am will be dispatched the next working day
(Please see full terms and conditions as if the item is returned a £7.95 deduction will be taken from your original postage amount to cover the cost of the express postage already been spent)
Any Royal Mail parcels uncollected from Royal Mail depot will be returned back to us by the carrier. Once Live for Tweed have received this item back from the the carrier we will process the customers refund excluding postage paid and any postage charge incurred from Royal Mail to retrieve the item back.
Please note we do not guarantee even though it is our intention you will receive your parcel for Christmas or for any events. We cannot be held responsible in any circumstance of parcels not arriving in time for Christmas and no compensation will be given for late arrivals of parcels over the Christmas period or any other time of the year.
Parcels may get delayed in uncertain times and circumstances. For UK delivery's and to allow unexpected delays and events an investigation will begin after 10 working days if you parcel has not been delivered. We will work with you and make it our priority you receive you parcel.
The Company reserves the right to revise its prices at any time prior to accepting an Order.
Parcels lost in transit and not delivered UK deliverys
At our company, we prioritize the safe and secure delivery of your parcel to your doorstep. After your order has been dispatched, you will receive comprehensive tracking information to keep you informed of its journey. Additionally, our parcel carriers will send email notifications as they prepare to deliver your package. These notifications also provide you with the flexibility to redirect the delivery if you won't be at home during the scheduled delivery time.
Our carriers are committed to ensuring your convenience. In the event that you're not available to receive the parcel, they may leave it in a safe location, such as your doorstep, porch, or with a nearby neighbor. However, if you have a specific preferred location where you'd like the parcel to be left, you can add this information to the notes when confirming your order. Alternatively, you can use the tracking and notifications to reschedule the delivery for a more convenient time when you will be available to receive it at home.
It's important to note that while we take every precaution to ensure the safe delivery of your parcel, we cannot assume responsibility for parcels that may go missing from designated safe places. Once the parcel is delivered, it is considered final, and refunds for missing parcels are not possible. This policy is in accordance with the guidelines provided by Royal Mail's tracking confirmation page.
In the rare event that you haven't received your parcel, please don't hesitate to reach out to us via our contact page. We are here to assist you in resolving these issues promptly.
It's important to note that postal delays can occur, especially during peak holiday seasons or in unforeseen circumstances, such as the COVID-19 pandemic. In such cases, we cannot accept responsibility for delays beyond our control.
If your parcel hasn't arrived within 12 days for UK delivery we will initiate a lost parcel claim or denial of receipt form. This will trigger a comprehensive investigation by the courier, which will require your full cooperation. Once the parcel is confirmed as lost, we will provide a full refund, including the shipping costs, to the buyer.
Please be aware that the process of declaring a parcel as lost may take between 21 to 28 days before we can issue a refund. However, if the parcel is marked as delivered and a denial of receipt form or email has been submitted by our customer, a refund will only be granted if the carrier confirms that the parcel was not delivered. We take these situations seriously and are committed to working diligently to resolve them to your satisfaction.
International Orders, Deliverys, Parcel Not Recieved
All parcels are dispatched using Royal Mail tracked and signed and are typically delivered within 7 to 10 days. However, in rare cases, we may opt to utilize an alternative courier service, based on factors such as price or the parcel's weight. Importantly, any changes in courier services will not result in additional costs for our valued customers. We remain committed to ensuring that your parcels are delivered promptly and efficiently.International Tracked & Signed cannot be sent to PO Boxes or Pack Stations, because a signature cannot be captured. A full telephone number and valid email is essential for us to dispatch your order. Each order will recieve an order confirmation, however at times these confirmations bounce back to us because the email address given is incorrect, in these cases we cannot dispatch your order until this has been correted.
Orders shipped to the European Union and other international destinations will be sent without VAT and with unpaid duties. Upon arrival in the destination country, these shipments may incur duties, VAT, and customs charges, which are the responsibility of the recipient, as outlined in our terms and conditions.
All international orders cannot be processed without a valid email address and telephine number.
We will include the necessary customs documentation, such as a CN22/23 and/or a commercial invoice on the exterior of the parcel for the receiving customs office to review. We regret that we have no control over these charges and cannot predict their costs, as customs policies and import duties differ widely between countries. We recommend that you contact your local customs office before placing an order to understand the current charges specific to your location. Some couriers may handle these charges in advance and may impose a handling fee.
Refusal of paying import and duties charges. International Buyers.
Once your parcel reaches the destination country, you will receive communication from a designated delivery agent regarding the payment of associated charges. As mentioned previously, the exact amount of these charges cannot be determined in advance. It is important to note that if these charges are not settled and the delivery is refused, there are a few potential outcomes:
Parcel Return: The parcel might be returned to us. However, the decision to return the parcel is subject to the return shipping cost. If the cost of returning the parcel exceeds the initial purchase price, the item may not be returned to you. Instead, it may be disposed of by the customs authorities in the recipient's country, and no refund will be provided.
Partial Refund: In cases where the charges are minimal, we will refund any remaining balance after deducting the return shipping expenses and a £15 administration fee. This will be credited back to your account.
We understand that this process may seem complex, but it is essential to ensure the smooth delivery of your parcel and to cover any incurred costs. We appreciate your cooperation in this matter. International Returns: When returning goods from outside the UK, it is crucial that we receive the items within 28 days of the original delivery date. To facilitate a successful return, please ensure that the DO NOT REMOVE tags are still in place. If these tags are missing, we regret that we cannot accept the return, and we will assume that the item has been worn and used and not refundable.

Last Days of Ordering and Christmas Deliveries
We strongly encourage customers to place their orders as early as possible to ensure timely delivery, especially during the holiday season. While we make every effort to meet delivery deadlines, unexpected delays that are beyond our control may occur, and we cannot guarantee delivery in time for specific events.
For time-sensitive occasions, such as holidays, we recommend ordering at least 7 days before the event date to maximize the likelihood of on-time delivery.
All Goods purchased are subject to a one-time payment. Payment can be made through various payment methods we have available, such as Visa, MasterCard, Affinity Card, American Express cards or online payment methods (PayPal, for example).
Payment cards (credit cards or debit cards) are subject to validation checks and authorization by Your card issuer. If we do not receive the required authorization, We will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery of Your Order. We do not take telephone orders all orders are online only.
Legal & Liability
Every item we offer for sale has gone through a 5 point check which ensure good customer service and satisfaction. Each item before reaching our website has to be deemed as good sellable condition. Every item is inspected and checked this includes the material of the garment, stitching, buttons, labels and general overall condition. Unless otherwise stated all the garments we sell are used, vintage, second-hand or preloved and can be between 10- 60 years old approx. All of the items we sell will have general used wear, which can include bobbling, fluffing, discoloration, scuffs, scratches. Any holes or tears will always be noted in the items description condition.
Item descriptions examples - Any noticeable faults or concerns are always noted under the item description.
To define and interperate Excellent Condition – This item is not brand new and has been worn, however it is in excellent used shape with minimal signs of being worn, it may have the odd very light mark but nothing detrimental.
Very Good Used or Vintage Condition - A clothing item, which is in great shape throughout, with signs of generally being worn from age and wear. The item may have the odd mark, bobbling or discolouration or the odd historic repair, anything significant will always be noted on the listing.
Good Used or Vintage Condition - An item in great shape but has heavier signs of being worn from age and wear. The item may have a few heavier flaws, Larger historic repairs, stains, marks or discoloration, but still perfectly wearable. Any significant faults will always be mentioned in the main listing.
Garment Care and Descriptions: Unless otherwise specified, our garments are not dry cleaned prior to shipping. We recommend having them professionally dry cleaned upon receipt. However, please note that we take care to steam and spot clean the items ourselves. Some of our vintage clothing, which may be over 50 years old, could have a slight odor due to age. We do not assume responsibility for this, and we strongly recommend getting them dry cleaned upon receipt to refresh them.
Accuracy of Descriptions: We make every effort to describe our garments as accurately as possible. However, if you are dissatisfied with your purchase, please follow our returns process. Once we receive the item in our possession and it meets our returns terms and conditions, we will refund the cost of the item, excluding shipping charges.
Sizing and Measurements: All our items are measured, despite the presence of a size label. Different garments may have variations in tweed thickness, cuts, and shapes, making fit a subjective matter. While we provide approximate measurements, it's possible that the item may not fit as expected. In such cases, please refer to our returns policy. You can return the item within 14 days of receiving it for UK buyers, and 30 days for International buyers provided it's in an unworn and unused condition with the DONOT remove tag still in place. We will refund the cost of the item, excluding both the original and return postage costs but for International buyers we do not also refund any import charges, duties or taxes.. Please note that the buyer is responsible for all postage return costs.
Image Color Disclaimer: The color of the items in our images may appear different depending on the device you are using to view them. We do not accept responsibility for these variations in image coloring. Differences in color portrayal do not warrant a refund on postage charges or constitute grounds for item non-compliance with the description.
